Discovery and definition
For when you have an idea and a budget, but not yet a specification.
I interview the people who will actually use the thing, look hard at what already exists, and work out what the problem really is — which is usually not what the brief says it is.
You get: a written problem definition, personas grounded in interview evidence rather than assumption, a competitive analysis of the tools you are being measured against, an edge-case matrix, and a recommendation on what to build first and what to leave.
