Some problems aretoo far away to touch. So I observe them first.

Product and interface design, worked out by looking closely at a problem before drawing anything.

For hiring teams

Two full observation records, with the research and the decisions attached — including the interviews that changed the definition and the edge case that changed the architecture.

You will see what was owned, what was contributed to, and what sat outside the brief, because a contribution ledger runs on every record.

A CV covering the same work in one page.

For founders and teams

Discovery, interface design and a component set you can keep building on, documented well enough that the next person can pick it up without me.

I work by looking closely at the problem before drawing anything, which is slower to start and much faster to finish.

Send a brief and I will reply with what I would look at first.

Still unresolved

The interesting things are the ones I haven't finished looking at.

Two client projects and three self-directed concepts are on record. That is where I am, and I would rather state it plainly than dress it up. The work I want next is the kind where the problem is still unclear when I arrive.

Drawn to
Ops and internal tools, where the constraints are real and nobody has designed the thing twice.
Working on
Writing research so it survives being handed to someone else.
Open to
Full-time product design roles, and freelance briefs.

Tell me what the work is and when it starts, and I will tell you plainly whether I am the right person for it.
